Manufacturing education and training governance model for industry 4.0 in the Adriatic-Ionian area

The Interreg V-B Adriatic-Ionian programme (ADRION) – Adriatic-Ionian Programme INTERREG V-B Transnational 2014-2020 is a European transnational programme that works to promote cooperation and solidarity between eight Partner States.

The specific objective priority of the programme is to support the development of a regional innovation system for the Adriatic-Ionian area.

EU industrial production is facing a phase of radical change and transformation linked to the introduction of cyber-physical systems within the productive processes, falling under the Industry 4.0 concept.

The project FUTURE 4.0 aims at supporting competent regional/national administrations to design governance frameworks governing the impact of the technological megatrends on the shipyard and logistics industry, through a Technological Road-mapping and Foresight tool, as basis for designing a suitable Industry 4.0 Smart Learning Model to be tested with universities, companies, R&I actor and stakeholders in each territory. The development of complementary knowledge and tech. transfer actions for the uptake of innovative emerging tech. in manufacturing SMEs across the area covered by FUTURE 4.0 will lead to effective creation of framework conditions for advanced manufacturing.

The main objective of the project is the support of competent regional and national administrations to design an Industry 4.0 suitable and effective industrial knowledge and technology transfer governance model, in order to facilitate the manufacturing system enhancement. The partnership is composed of 9 partners from 4 countries with the Leading Partner from Italy – Regione del Veneto (3 EU Italy, Greece, Croatia and 1 IPA: Albania).  In addition, there are two associated partners from Italy. The duration of the project is 24 months (start date 01.01.2018 – end date 31.12.2019).

Particula group actions in the project are dissemination and communication activities and networking stakeholders from the public and private sectors..
